This exceptional set of four dining chairs is one of the finest designs ever produced by Fristho. Crafted from richly figured rosewood and upholstered in elegant beige leather, these chairs have been beautifully preserved over the decades and are ready to be enjoyed immediately.

Produced by the renowned Dutch furniture manufacturer Fristho, these chairs are widely regarded as their interpretation of the iconic Model 71 by Niels Møller. While inspired by the celebrated Danish design, Fristho introduced a number of subtle refinements. The front legs feature softer, more sculptural curves, while the backrest flows with a more organic silhouette, creating a chair that feels both refined and uniquely its own.

Collectors and design enthusiasts often regard this much rarer Fristho version as one of the most successful reinterpretations of the Model 71. The design is generally attributed to Cor Bontenbal and the Fristho Design Team, whose thoughtful adjustments resulted in an elegant and timeless piece of Dutch Mid-Century design.
